Seth Routzahn

Seth & Jess
On March 1st, 1979 my fraternal twin brother Evan and I set a Frederick Memorial Hospital record for being the largest set of twins ever delivered there weighing in at over 17 pounds. I lived in the same brick cape cod that my mom grew up in that was built by my grandfathers in the 50's. My hometown is Middletown, Maryland. My ancestors settled there in 1729 from Austria. It's your typical small town with a Main Street and everything. Oh yeah, everyone in the town is somehow related to me, clean blood lines of course. My first job was as a paperboy. I was then a busboy. After graduating from Middletown High School, I stepped up to be a waiter and a cook and then a manager at a camping store. I almost joined the Air Force--actually I did until they told me I was going to be a truck driver for 3 years. I have always been a talker. God put it on my heart to do radio so I went to Columbia School of Broadcasting in Washington, DC in 1999. In April of 2000 I met my lovely wife Jessica who I found out later only went to the camping store to check me out. After graduating from Columbia School of Broadcasting in 2001 with a degree in Radio and Television Announcing, I became an Account Executive for four Radio Stations in Pennsylvania. I quickly knew I wasn't a commission driven salesman so I joined the company Jessica worked for and took care of a Russian Autistic Man. On June 16, 2002, my beautiful wife and I were married in a garden. After working as a youth leader that summer, Jessica and I got the itch to pick up everything we had and move to Nashville. So in August of 2002 we got an apartment in Hermitage. Shortly after I started working at the Salem Music Network as a Board Operator and then in April I became the Afternoon Drive Guy here at NAZ. We just bought a house out in Mt. Juliet--near the lake of course--because I love fishing and, believe it or not, bird watching and mountain biking.
